Join my sister Johanna & I for a unique sewing retreat where creativity, country hospitality and learning come together at the Greenhills Art Centre which is nestled in the wheatbelt countryside near the historic town of York. Greenhills Art Center is a beautifully restored heritage building dating back to 1906.
Spend two inspiring days learning to sew while enjoying delicious home-cooked meals, vintage-style high tea and the peaceful charm of country life.

Whether you've just bought your first sewing machine, it's been gathering dust for years, or you're simply looking for a relaxing weekend of creativity and country hospitality, this retreat offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, learn new skills and enjoy time away from everyday life.
Throughout the retreat you’ll create a beautiful cotton apron which could make a lovely hand made gift.. The final apron style and embroidery options may vary slightly from those shown as we put the finishing touches on the collection. Choose from a selection of pre-embroidered panels. Your embroidery will already be stitched before you arrive, allowing you to focus on learning construction techniques and building confidence with your sewing machine.
